Ok, so I will confess and my husband will agree, I am a geek! Statistics and market data is fascinating to me. I enjoy looking at the numbers and what they mean!! Not everyone is geeky like me, but in our industry it is important as a professional to keep on top of what is happening in our local housing markets. We need to know what is selling, when it is selling and how. Since our market area is so diverse, Sedona and the entire Verde Valley, we like to look at each area individually. At the end of each year, we look back to see what happened in the each local housing market.
As a homeowner, it is good to know what is happening in your local housing market. In the recent past our housing markets experienced such volatility so it is good to geek-out for a moment and review the numbers. What is selling? What prices are the averages? What was the most expensive sale? What was the least? What month is the best to sell?
