One of James and my favorite things to do on date night is visit the local Sedona Verde Valley wineries and tasting rooms! It is relaxing and fun to taste the wine, have an appetizer plate and enjoy some music! A great way to support local businesses as well as reconnect with each other after a long week of work! I know! Arizona and wine? You bet! The Sedona Verde Valley area has some excellent vineyards and great tasting rooms! Plus a variety of wine to please almost any palate.
Follow the Verde Valley Wine Trail and you can experience 4 outstanding wineries located in the beautiful greenbelt of the Verde Valley. Alcantara Winery and Vineyard – Located on the lush banks of the Verde River, you can enjoy the beauty of this unique area and sample some amazing wines. Tip: Sit on the patio and walk the grounds. 3445 S. Grapvine Way, Cottonwood AZ 86326 Hours: 11am – 6pm
Page Springs Cellars – Located in Cornville this beautiful setting is right on the banks of Oak Creek . Tip: Come hungry they have a full menu & on the weekends live music. Patio setting is the best! 1500 N Page Springs Rd, Cornville AZ 86325 Hours: 11am-7pm (9pm Thursday- Sunday)
Oak Creek Vineyard – Just down the street from Page Springs Cellars. This Vineyard is fun and features local artists. Sit on the patio or at the bar. Tip: Great Cheese plates! 1555 Page Springs Rd, Cornville AZ 86325 Hours: 10am-6pm
Cellar 433 Tasting Room – Sample wines from all over Arizona and enjoy outstanding views of the entire Verde Valley and Sedona. Tip: Great cheese plate and they offer micro-brews too! 240 Hull St, Jerome AZ 86331 Hours: 11am-5pm
Burning Tree Cellars Tasting Room – Located in a renovated gas station right in the heart of old town Cottonwood you are close to great restaurants. Tip: Comfortable patio seating and live music on the weekends. 1040 Main St., Cottonwood AZ 86326 Hours: 12pm-7pm (9pm Friday & Saturday)
